Personalizing email campaign messages

To greet every subscriber in email by name you can use personalization markers. And it's very easy.
To personalize every email message in campaign while using campaign editor set the cursor in a place where personal data from subscriber's profile should appear and select in the "Personalization" menu profile fields that must be added.
If you choose 'First Name' personalization marker will be placed at the cursor place - [% FirstName%] . Just before message is sent it will be replaced by subscriber's 'First Name' field value.
Similarly you can add to the message Last Name marker - [% LastName%] and any other fields value saved in subscriber's profile.
Markers can be added both to the text and to html, for example, to specify a unique url parameter.
All personalizing details must be saved in subscribers profiles before sending a campaign to replace markers.
To download or update subscriber data, including
first and last names in the maillists you can use function to import data from xls or xml file or edit the subscribers details manualy in the "MailLists" section.
